Edexcel IGCSE Maths past papers
Match the qualification code, year, exam series, tier and paper number before attempting a past paper. Mathematics A linear papers use the qualification code 4MA1; other qualifications and modular routes have different identifiers. Use Pearson’s resource directory for authorised public material.
Find the correct resource
Select the required exam series and inspect the document cover. Keep the question paper and its matching mark scheme together. Some recent materials may require centre access; their presence in a catalogue does not make them publicly downloadable.

Read the paper identity
- 4MA1 identifies Mathematics A, rather than UK GCSE Mathematics or Mathematics B.
- Check Foundation or Higher and the exact paper code, including any regional suffix.
- Match the exam series and year, not only the paper number.
- Use the time, equipment and instructions printed on that paper’s cover.
Attempt and review
First complete the paper under the conditions you want to practise, keeping your working visible. Use the matching marking material only after finishing the attempt. Separate unfinished questions from attempted questions with method errors, then choose a targeted lesson for the next study session.
